Basketball, finals, and sweater parties

Proud I was to attend the basketball match on Saturday with two ute friends. You know Utah has a bad basketball team when you are disappointed that BYU only wins by 19 points. It was an ugly game, but I am still proud of my boys. The biggest test of the season will be Saturday with Baylor coming to Provo.

So here it is, the end of the semester. The only thing standing between me and lots and lots of skiing, are four finals. I see it as a race of sorts. sure I've been running for a long time, but it's all in vain if I don't sprint to the finish.

Every Christmas season I am scared that I will be sick of ugly sweater parties. But somehow they are still fun year after year. Nothing beats openin white elephant gifts with all the boys.

Sorry tribe

Congrats to my Buff fans for your first road victory in 4 years! The sad thing is it came at the expense of the tribe up north. To think that a half-decent U team could have played in the PAC 12 championship if it had defeated the worst team in the in the conference doesn't make this new-look conference look good.

What better place to celebrate 11:11 11/11/11 than the pie pizzeria?! When I noticed the time, I stood and announced it for the whole restaurant to hear. Saving me from embarrassment, the crowd celebrated along with me. And for some reason I was wearing a black garbage bag over my clothes

Who decided that mustaches at BYU are ok, but beards aren't? This man I spotted in the library may have had a say!

Let It Snow

In honor of the recent snow accumulation, I am posting this pic from last ski season. This snowboarder (yes, that's a snowboard he's on) was discovered in early February at Snowbird ski resort. I later spotted him unsuccessfully attempting a 360 in the terrain park. I would love to see the footage of his flailing ski poles from his camcorder! Who needs a Gopro when you can strap on a 20-year-old video camera from DI?
